British actress Billie Piper has issued a stinging criticism of Posh Spice (aka Victoria Beckham) adding that the ex-spice girl is not a good role model for teenagers.
Piper, who herself has had issues with her weight and diet, reported that her younger sister was a close follower of Ms Beckham’s styles and diets, which Piper believed were having an unhealthy effect on her.
As more and more celebrities highlight the “beauty†of the size zero figure, the pressure on youngsters appears to be getting worse. Ms Piper has been in a similar situation herself, having struggled with anorexia in her younger days, and believes that celebrities have a duty to protect the young and give a more balanced approach to life and health.
Ms Beckham herself has long been the subject of much speculation about her tiny frame, with many claiming that she looks decidedly unhealthy in her relentless pursuit of that zero dress size figure.
