In an alarming development in her bitter divorce from estranged husband Paul McCartney, Heather Mills-McCartney was recently warned by Merseyside police that the Liverpool underworld were circling.
Liverpool has long been protective of the Fab 4, with a history of threats and violence against those who cross them. This latest twist is a step too far and Ms Mills-McCartney has had a police alarm fitted into her home, which she shares with her daughter Beatrice.
It will be a relief when the whole separation episode is over, and we can all get on with our lives.
