It was a battle of wills between the two sportsman – Mark Ramprakash (cricket) and Matt Dawson (Rugby), but Mark and his partner Karen Hardy were crowned champions of Strictly Come Dancing.
In a surprisingly hard fought battle, Ramprakash continued the good record that cricketers have had over the last few years. However, the pressure had really been on Ramprakash after news of an alleged 6 year affair broke in the press.
Matt Dawson has without doubt been the most improved dancer over the series, after being on the verge of being voted out on a number of occasions.
The popularity of this show grows with every year, and even now there is speculation as to who will be signing-up for next year!
