While fashion hot head Naomi Campbell has been quiet since her recent court case, where she was rebuked for her unreasonable behaviour, she has burst back onto the scene with her controversial views on size Zero.

Ever willing to put her views forward, she has claimed that “skinny” models have psychological problems of their own, and the fashion industry cannot be held responsible.

While she is still working on the modelling circuit, her career seems to be waning as the constant bad press and court cases begin to take their toll. As with so many superstars, it appears that Ms Campbell’s public face is very much different from her private face, with controversy never far behind. She is in the press more for her personal life than fashion work at the moment, something that does not help her profile.

Anger management, violent outburst and rumoured substance abuse have blighted her career of late, and many are questioning whether she has gone too far.

In a profession which has never been too forgiving, many believe that Ms Campbell’s outburst in favour of the fashion industry is a blatant attempt to curry favour with fashion bosses, but will it work?
