Tobey MaguireThe eagerly anticipated move Spiderman 3 is due out on 4 May, but could this be the last Spidey for actor, Tobey Maguire? In the May issue of Men’s Journal he says, “I might do another Spiderman movie, I don’t know”.

Maguire says “Spider-Man 3″ has a “fresh story” for his character.

“The public is adoring him, and it goes to his head. He’s behaving arrogantly and is self-involved, which changes the feeling of the character for me. And it just gets darker from there,” he says.

Maguire has spoken before of the rigourous training that he does to get into shape for the role and he now has other priorities, since the birth of his 5-month old daughter, Ruby Sweetheart.

Meanwhile Kirsten Dunst, who plays Mary-Jane in the Spiderman series has caused a stir. In England’s Live Magazine, she admitted that she had smoked drugs and said “the world would be a better place”, if everyone smoked weed.

Larry BirkheadAfter many weeks of uncertainty and rumors a-plenty, the father of Anna Nicole Smith’s baby girl, Dannielynn has been confirmed as Larry Birkhead. DNA tests confirmed that late star’s former boyfriend was the father, which disappointed her lawyer/companion, Howard K.Stern who has been caring for the child.

The child could inherit millions from Ann Nicole’s late husband, J. Howard Marshall II’s estate. Although paternity has now been determined, there is still a custody battle for the child. A hearing is scheduled for Friday.

David GestThere seems to have been a bit of a shake-up on the X-factor recently. UK Host, Kate Thornton has been told that she is not good enough for the show and given the axe. Judge Louis Walsh has decided to leave and this has meant there is a vacancy.

Rumors are circulating that producer and popular “I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here” contest, David Guest is going to to step into the breach. He is said to have the right amount of charisma and a wealth of musical experience for the job. I am sure the program will be more watchable if he is a judge.
