As Christmas approaches, many music fans will be jumping for joy after Posh Spice (aka Victoria Beckham) announced that she is quitting the singing industry for good.
Like many group members before her, it is sometimes difficult for these successful group artists to emulate success in the solo market. While there is no doubt that Ms Beckham has had a number of top selling singles in the UK, she has recently been snubbed by the major music labels, with many predicting that her time was over.
Posh Spice has not released a single for some time now, and it seems that (quite rightly) her home life has become number one on her agenda. As her children continue to grow up under the media spot light, her guidance and help will be needed more and more.
